Teaching Artist Information
As a teaching artist, my experience covers a broad range of ages, institutions and specialties. I pride myself on my ability to enter diverse educational environments and create curricula which is unique and engaging to the community I am entering.
I believe an ideal learning environment is one based on experimentation and genuine curiosity.
I strive to teach technique integrated with theory, encouraging students to develop a deep understanding of their individual practice, as it relates to the history of performance traditions.
I create opportunities for students to work collaboratively, taking authorship of not just their own experience but supporting, challenging and engaging one another.
